Are those b & w photos digital or printed? Some look like they need a filter or dodging a bit (quite fond of doing old school b & w prints me)

Looks like the kid is still in school. The work is very very sub-par. Unpolished and unfinished works with no explaination of purpose or process. Very amatuerish all around.
The mock projects aren't even that well done. And the design projects near the end are just straight up deviantArt trash experiments that have no business being in there. There is such a thing as pruning your portfolio, and perhaps Justin should learn to do so.
On top of that, justin, maybe you shouldn't call yourself an art director until you've actually TAKEN direction in the real world and become a competent designer. You don't just get to be an art director because you say you're one.

Oh and about the photography, stick it on flickr, it doesn't deserve a section of your site. Better yet, don't even put it on the web at all, no one wants to see your point-and-shoot snapshots.

"'move' mouse down for menu". I kept clicking my button, waiting for something to happen.
nice motion on the thumbnails / menu - i quite like that.
but.. it took me ages to notice the main navigation at the bottom of the page - i subconsciously ignored it, assuming it to be a copyright notice.
the same can be said for your project description content - why hide it down there at the bottom? it's the most important bit!
although i can appreciate why you've not done it, i would include a link to the 'homepage' - I know there's nothing there, but it's kind of important for people to get a feel for where they are.
the thin Helvetica and text blurring seem dated by about 5 years. Not sure whether that's important to you or not.
i really resent websites which automatically assume i want to listen to their illegal music - i'm already listening to my illegal music and it makes your site and my other downloads slower.
i'd maybe bring a little depth to some of the text - it's very stark in black and white. i'm sure a shade of grey on either side wouldn't go amiss.
Overall - I quite like it, but I think you really need to rethink your main nav and descriptions - they're really letting you down.
