That's not a rip.

Any site considered more than 50% web2.0 automatically forfeits the right to complain about rips.

Moth, the guy actually states in one of his posts he 'borrowed' the layout of my site, so I do think it's a rip.

So are you airing a grievance or showing off? What's the deal here?
- Monokai0
Just trying to raise a little awareness.

*raises awareness, moral standards, one eyebrow, and a coffee mug.

Cool, man. I'll start the campaign this side of the North Sea, then.
*raises banners, screams into megaphone, whips crowd into a frenzy, serves cucumber sandwiches with the crusts trimmed, goes home to snooze.

i didn't get a sandwich. those brits always win out.

Is it that same guy as the first two links?
I'd say the the first is a copy - but this "new" rip isn't a rip. It's too different. He might have been inspired by the layout and buttons, but it's no rip.

:) Glad we've got both sides of the North Sea covered. Leave a sandwich for me too please.
Moth: I don't know if he's the same guy. I'm no good at Spanish. Don't think so though. I agree the first copy is clear, but I do think the second one is a rip too.
To make things clear: I really don't care about both copies. Just showing you the original sites.
Ah... the good old times when NT didn't get indifferent with these things. Or wait. That never happened.

(Jan 19 07, 04:58)I'm pretty sure we only get significant rip hateOns every few months - and we had one just before christmas, i think.
I wish people would stop saying 'NT was better in the old days' - it's pretty much the same (different crowd, different usernames) - if n00bs see comments like this, they'll take them on face value and they then become self-fulfilling prophecies.
Not trying to round on you, Monokai - it's just a perennial sentiment that i disagree with :)
