What would you recommend for my lunch?
I'm trying to break my Pret habbit but I can't find anything nearly as good or for much cheapness. (Centre of Edinburgh).
Is there such a thing as instant ramen noodles for less the £2, that don't taste of rubber bands and sand?
And healthy enough so that I don't get fat or ill?
(There's no kitchen area at work to make stuff).

if there's a decent-sized sainsbury's or waitrose nearby you can get stuff to make miso soup.
vermicelli noodles cook in about three seconds in boiling h2o and the miso is usually a mix or a paste. i chuck in tofu and mung beans and snow peas or any other kind of veg that you like.

you'll have to spend prolly 5 or 6 quid on the makings of it, but you don't need anything more than a kettle in your office (maybe you don't even have that, though) and it'll break down to less than £2 per day.

chicken and roasted pine nute sammich, very berry/yogurt/granola and some vegetable crisps, throw in a drink and you've spent nearly 7 fucking quid. Pret can suck dick.
holy fuck I walked by the hammersmith one the other day at lunch time, there must have been over 2 hundred people in there, place is a gold mine.

I dont mind spending 50 quid a week if it means I get to feel a bit continental every day.
Pret is proper and posh and good for you and has things like crayola fish tails and rocket leaf sandwich without bread. A sandwich without bread!, you cant put a price on genius."
