ever hear the song called "the boys in blue" off of a prince paul album?
- version30
call me wrong all you want , i don't care. i'm not a cop, all i said was try it, see what happens. everyone talks big and hates cops, but i doubt one of us is walking away from the next officer to speak to us, plain and simple

Just to play devil's advocate, it said that he didn't realize the guy was a police officer, so if some guy came up to me and told me I was jaywalking I'd tell him to F**k off, and if he asked for my id, I'd tell him to shove it, and if he kicked my legs, I'd fight back.
I only say this, because the similar happened to my brother at a nightclub, dude gave him a little static and he went into meathead mode, wound up spending the night in jail and a busted up face for walking out of a club.

(Jan 11 07, 13:24)how is that playing the devils advocate?
- Jaline0
because most of the ppl here are siding with the police officer. not a large majority or anything but still a majority.
- mrdobolina0
v4, different song Im talking about now with everlast playing a crooked cop on a prince paul record. If I think of it I will put it up later.
The guy said he didnt recognize him as a cop, the guy maybe never told him he was a cop, like how woody is saying.

do they realise someone got kicked to the ground and thrown in jail for crossing a road??
- acescence0
Physically dominating someone doesn't fit the crime of jaywalking.
Mimio
(Jan 11 07, 13:14)but it does fit the profile of your average small dick power tripping control freak cop.
all cops have issues of inadequecy, that's why they become cops, duh.
- version30
siding with the law, not the officer
everyone should stop making this personal.
the cop did his job and the man wouldn't respect the mans position as an officer
whats hard to understand here?

(Jan 11 07, 13:30)I don't agree. If you believe this, then you could stereotype the people who work in nearly every job out there.

ever break a law, jus-stone?
- Mimio0
People knowingly break the law ALL the time. I doubt they'd expect to be thrown to the ground and hadcuffed for speeding or rolling through a stop sign.
This discussion is just stupid.
- pyeaton0
"ignorance is defined as a lack of knowledge. so i feel your statement is gravely mistaken.
it is their detailed knowledge of the law that allows them to make the decisions they do.
and to consider the circumstances that he 1. was breaking a law. 2. was given warning 3. did not obey a direct order from an officer, i don't really mind what happened
ones own ignorance of the law is no excuse.
and to berate an officer doing his job in another country and calling it news in yours is pretty far fetched to say the least"
*** Well, I gotta say, i would expect that kinda behaviour outta cops in Belieze, but this is the US. Get a life.
- version30
i've been mug shot a few times actually, never convicted, that's where a smile and lawyer on retainer pan out
i know i don't have the cash to beat the system so i play on its edges
last time i was arrested though, i was allowed to drive my vehicle to a place it would not be towed, i was not handcuffed behind my back, i wore sunglassses in the back of the car and i had a nice conversation with the officer on our way downtown. I can only assume this pleasant treatment came as a result of my respect for the man
- mrdobolina0
did you rat out your boys?
