yea, those are hair dryers, but when you say hair dryer in english it tends to mean the little hand-held ones.
if there's a different, more specialised name for these big ones, i'm not aware of it.
the ladies at the salon say, "alright, luv, just come over here and sit under the dryer for a bit. here's a magazine."
