I did a fine art degree and i've found the analytical skills invaluable. I think an art degree gives you more options than a business degree.
Have you thought of exhibition or store design. Your environmental and interactive design skills would be good for that.
Chin up old boy. Things will pick up.

I'm only an arse here.
Elsewhere I'm pretty altruistic. I like to help people with their projects.

And if you read any Flash threads on NT I tend to chuck in some advice and references.
I owe a lot to nice people on forums.

st33d, you come across as an asshole on this forum, like a big one (sometimes to me) not to say i'm not or I don't but then again I'm not the one looking for a job, so just keep that in mind

yes the pressure is on 6 times a year as every other month is market week and that means a new collection must be designed from scratch...
the work is fantastic and creative and filled with sexy chicks!!! :D
lots of international travel for shopping trips and asia factory development.
salaries are also great if you can negotiate it, i have not seen the salaries in my industry have a end mark...so the possibilities are endless!!!
plus plus is seeing a person walking down the street wearing your product, its the best feeling ever!!!
come to nyc, work with me!!! lets make lots of money!!! rretire early!! and smoke this large blunt!!!!!
:)

Product design seems like a lot of fun (and pressure) - I am just projecting my feelings of needs for a change and more energy creatively. Too much business stuff make spendogg cranky

i think europe is a different atmosphere in terms of creatives in business. try coming to the us. more companies are looking to employ people who understand how creativity can benefit them in the marketplace.

I'm leaving the Technical PM world for my own business world in the very near future. However, with that being said, my technical and marketing experience will vastly help me.
There's no real money in working for someone else, so all of you that do freelance are on to something, it just might take you a while to build up the clientele that will allow you to retire or get rich.
Maybe it's just about being your own boss too.

I have an NVQ in fast food (no shit)
I don't want to go back to burger flipping either.

Applied for 8 jobs today. Mostly interactive media and Flash (I reckon I've come to enjoy actionscript programming)
The wierdest one was a post in the Netherlands teaching A.I. which I happened to write my thesis on.
