strange request...
i need a translation of this brazilian vocal track:
Verde by Tuca:
http://waxidermy.com/images/tuca…doesn't have to be word for word; a general idea of the 2 verses and chorus would do.
some info about the artist here if anyone's interested: http://waxidermy.com/2006/12/19/…
thanks.

could you post the lyrics please?

it's probably "Ver-te" (See you). "Verde" means "green"and doesn't makes sense (i wonder?).
the lyrics:
I can foresee you in the morning
Your body stayedI can because it is resting
from a night of full love
and I stayed to watch you,
withouth loving you
to see you wake up
to feel the coming dawn
that has arrived
so empty
and to stay
a-ahI can foresee you in the morning
Your body as awaken.

following a few google results
it's "Verde" alright.also, the singer is probably Elis Regina (the great one). There was a famous bossanova show in 1968 in the TUCA theatre in Brazil.

(Jan 6 07, 13:13)well, portuguese/spanish jews went to the netherlands after being chased by the catholic rule after 1500 AD. it wouldn't be nonsense if the meaning of the word 'verde' (which is the colour of hope as we say around here) could give 'peace' in dutch.
