Hello, can anyone suggest a nice sequencer app for Mac, similar to Fruityloops etc.?

well, reason is probably the next step up from FL.

Then there is logic, cubase, digital performer, etc.
My personal favorite as for now.

garageband as well
http://www.apple.com/ilife/garag…but I think what you are looking for is a 16-step sequencer
why not dig up Re-Birth and import samples and sequence. Meeklo is right, the closest is probably Reason 3.0

(Jan 6 07, 12:39)well, FL is like $25 or something like that..
I'm not sure if there is anything that low budget for mac,
Look here:
http://www.versiontracker.com/ph…doesnt garageband come with osx now? it kinda sucks if you want to do computer generated music, but if you want to record real instruments might be ok.
Look on ebay for a ableton, you get 2 licenses for each purchase, find a friend each pay half, you will be getting it for like $150. how's that?

Also there is a LITE version of ableton free, if you buy one of those cheap m-audio controllers..
