Well, an off-the-cuff trip to Toys'r'us for a 5yr old girl's birthday present today ended up with me buying a nice new 60GB PS3 - even though I'm still waiting for one from eBay from a shitty seller which may not arrive :-/
So... anyone downloaded the Gran Turismo HD demo yet? Any good?
Not got my HDMI cable yet so don't know how the graphics compare to the PS2.
And also the Motorstorm demo? Does it look as good as the trailer?
I'm downloading them both now, fucking wetting myself! Already connected up my PSP and remotely controlled the PSP, looks pretty sweet. I'm just waiting for the original Parappa the Rapper to crop up in the downloads :D
Graphics aren't that impressive on 480i, my Xbox 360 looked better but I'll soon have the HDMI cable for the joombo TV and I'll be all set.
No idea how Radio Shack/Sony/etc can charge $50 for an HDMI cable when you can get one for $9 on eBay.

Annoying how the PSP/PS3 connection requires a WPA-PSK (AES) password though, 58 characters is a lot to input with a PSP/PS3 controller.
