Mmmmm, steak...
If you're in LA, head over to Mastro's for a "special occasion." A steak will run anywhere from like $30 - $50, but it's one of the best I've had and it's served on a 400 degree plate.
And if you hit up Mastro's be sure to splurge on the lobster mashed potatoes...possibly the best app ever.
If you're on the east coast and in NY, hit up Peter Lugers for that one of a kind steak and that PL's sauce. I pick up a bottle of sauce every time I'm out there.
Mmmmm, sauce...I mean mmmmm, steak.

Actually one of my favorite steaks in NYC is the filet mignon at Lan, this Japanese place down on Third avenue...

really...and Matsui from the Yankees eats there on occasion...all the white people order the sushi there (which is so-so) and the Japanese come in and order the steak..it's funny...
