If you have several different style sheets but want them all to be numbered in sequence (various style sheets scattered) is there a way to override the fact that it is several style sheets? Like.. superduper paginations?
I like?

pagination is styles independent, no?

I have 3 style sheets spread randomly throughout an entire document. I am looking for a way to make it ignore that fact and number the pages in sequence 1-70something.
You dig?

don't put your auto page numbering on the master pages. Do it on the pages themselve. I'd put them on a layer and lock them so that they don't move.
For example, put the auto page number on the first page you want to start number, copy that onto the next 2 pages until you have it as a spread. Copy the page numbers and paste in place on each spread page.

I'm not a print guy so I'm rarely using InDesign, but can't you apply more than one master page to a given spread?

please don't copy and paste your pagination on all 70 pages.
in the "pages" window, select the first page you want to be #1. right click on it and select "page numbering..." from the contextual menu. the menu should be pretty self-explanitory from there.
If that doesn't help, then try rewording your question.
