if you're interested in selling jewelry rather than a marginalizing image, i would recommend actually putting jewelry on your main page.

and if you're going to anchor to the footer, you should label your footer so it works

More juicy, shiny jewellery AND female flesh!
Jewellery is for pure vanity only. It's all about looks and luxury. You're not selling metal and rocks (well, actually you are), it's the bling they're paying for.
Men buy them to get women, women wear them to attract men, it's about SEX!
The site must scream SEX, MONEY, BLING, BLING!!!
(possibly in a sophisticated euphemistic way, we're civilized people, aren't we?)

Trooperbill is that ya burd!?
If so I advise not using her, as when she comes to sell the pieces at trade shows/stores/etc.. the buying is gonna oogle

(Dec 21 06, 16:02)if the first impression they want to give users is "look, boobies!...oh, and here's some jewelry", then great. might work on lots of men, less so for women.
it's probably just smart to chill w/the "sex sells" spiel and find a reasonable, elegant balance. after all, turning off at least 1/2 of your potential buyers is just not good business. this is especially true for a new business or brand struggling to survive. as far as i know, abercrombie and fitch didn't launch their brand by exclusively peddling The Sausage ;)

1. Get rid of the "Showing 1-16 of 16 items" thing... seems like everything gets thrown on one page anyways so it's useless
2. The maroon is depressing and draining to me...am I alone here?
3. Definitely more than one shot of each item
4. The second category, "Custom Jewelry" is all text...it breaks the navigational flow to toss in a text heavy page in between image heavy pages
Otherwise, I find it good, clean, easy to navigate.

(Dec 21 06, 16:39)I never said dirty sex! Sophisticated romantic, luxurious, Champagne in a French Castle and Rolls Royce sex :)
Jewellery for some smart marketing reason is being used to seal the luuuv, so this shouldn't be slutty :)

i know the custom jewellery page needs pepping up, its something im working on with case studies etc... anyone else feel uneasy about the red, im trying to brand it differently from other sites which are pretty much all blur or pink (which i think looks cold)... and rest assured that ive designed the site to have more than one product image - just need the photos now :)

Has too much of a "e-store" look, site doesn't speak to the personality of the jewelery.
