What's the difference between Blank Pages vs Facing Pages?
I have a 16 page (book style, no folds) brochure set up in both styles but don't know the difference.

facing pages can be used for two things .. to give you an idea of the spread as well as to set up the printing order for the printer
these two situations look very different.
usually you can set the facing pages up in design spread and the printer will change them to printer spreads (so long as you submit an accurate mock up)

Thanks.
So it wouldn't matter if I gave them Blank Pages cause the printer would change it to printer speards?
And. You have a lot of nice package design on your website. Is that prepared as die cuts in Illustrator than paced in Quark?
I owe you a beer for your help. Thanks.

you should speak to your printer about their preferences with file setup .. sometimes they will charge you extra to change the file around.
and thanks :) the packaging was laid out in illustrator. i use multi-page software (quark, indesign) for brochures, books .. etc. though some designers use them for packaging. depends on the job really and your personal working process.
best of luck!

when using master pages you set up one for the left and one for the right, then you can have wider outside margins, page number on the outsides and when you shuffle pages around they automatically stay on the outside. Single pages are good for, well, single pages, roll folds etc
go look and see.
