myspace sucks, but yeah i have one too :P
keep in mind we are in the business of advertising, and there is a lot of profiles designed just for that purpose.

you can enter your Gmail as well and it will show you everyone in your contacts that has a myspace

I think most people just use it to get layed! Or seem more popular than they are, even terrorising other kids in schools, bullying on the internet so to speak... Very sad, but it does have it's good uses...
Like looking up old mates.
Or if you've got anything you wanna network for... it's free advertising on a mass scale!

mine is all flash!

I don't update my profile or anything but I keep it there because you actually do talk to people who you haven't talked to in a while. Same with Facebook. It's more for curiosity's sake.
I like:

it's funny when people get so angry about why people are on myspace.
it's just like aim or email. sure, tons of annoying teenagers use it, but normal people use it to keep in touch with people they don't see very often.
i found a bunch of old college friends on there, i never would have found otherwise.
most people i know don't actually use it to meet people or talk to people they don't already know in real life.

Haha, I have MySpace ... I hated on it, but it's actually cool to like have a place on the internet that even people who know nothing about computers can create an account and keep up with it, and actually want to keep up with it.
It's weird, I put a fake name when I first started and had like a handful of friends, then I changed it to my actual name and the friend requests started pouring in.
Someone at my work found it, and I've since changed myh name again.
Not like there's anything on mine that is like bad or whatever, I just don't want everyone at my work to think ... oh wait.
That I have MySpace, haha.

I like myspace, I'm just sick of the losers that think they're so important and in demand that they block their profiles to anyone who is not on their friends list.
Such obvious pretentiousness.

I should make mine private, I'm pretty prententious.

Mine has been private for a few months now. It started to creep me out, especially since I'm not outgoing at school and I'm sure a lot of people know me through my online profiles at MySpace and Facebook.

it's a killer tool for bands and filmmakers period...easy to upload automatic hosting and a network to get exposure. the first thing i heard was that it's a ll the cheap shit out there chumming up with each other until i realized i was meeting really cool successfull talented people almost right away...still need to make a better design, gif animations are the way...it's a 90s revival

Especially for those musicians who don't want people to be able to download their music. Although there are ways to get around it, it's almost too annoying to attempt to download the songs by going through the codes.

god i'm bored
