Hey its me again :-))
When one of your clients wants and HTML email newsletter done for em, do you:
A) Tell em to fu*k off coz HTML mails are EVIL!!!
B) say sure, but send it yourself coz I don't wanna be responsible for the spam. + its better to send out using an email your customers will recognise.
B) yeah sure Il send it out aswell, just give me your list of contacts and il crack on. Even though most people's email will filter out an unknown email address.
OR is there a wickedy little bit of software you can use on Mac?

a) I'd search the PVN for HTML mail how-tos
b) i'd discern my clients needs and use that as the basis for my decision
c) i'd consider html/txt combo mails or just text and link through to rich html site
d) i'd send it from your clients email - consider creating a 'newsletter@' address (or wer)

campaign monitor will do list management and SPAM compliance, and it can be sent 'from' any email you specify. costs are very very cheap, with no monthly fees, and it's built for web designers – very user friendly.
no I don't work for them.
yes, I've been using them for a while, and it's been a very easy way for our agency to sell the service with minimal hassle
