Hi all,
I got a mac from john lewis last week, I'm not happy with you, does anyone know if I can return it, or does it need to be damaged?

well, I'm not sure if it is just mine or all macs, but I can't position the tilt on the monitor to a certain position, it slowly inches it way to a position it seems to like. It seems that the weight of the monitor is forcing it to point downwards.
I know, only a simple little problem, but it does get annoying having to adjust the tilt every half hour.
I knew I should have good a macbook pro :(

John Lewis probably have a 14 day returns period. Give them a call.

take it back there and explain to them your problem. if it's only a week old and the tilt is, in fact, a fault, they will replace it.
i can't imagine it's meant to tilt like that...

yeah, or like concrete said, just exchange it for a different product.

lol take it back, it is a fault. I got one and it hasn't done that before. I'd also go for the macbook pro 17 If had the choice. So explain to them your not happy with the fault and the overall feel of it, and I think they should let you swap it for the macbook pro. Means nothing to them, you be paying more for it so they be happy enough I reckon.
