Well since there is not a docking station made for th 17" macbook pro to my knowledge wahts the best way to connect the macbook pro to two monitors? Thanks in advance for any help on this.

where is that wire coming from?

it would be a dvi out from the macbook pro. The graphics card is a ATI Radeon X1600.
