design vs. banner

  We're crafting a site for a pretty prominent client. Problem is, they have one mandatory on all their pages. A 300 x 250 banner ad that has to at or near the top right of the page.

  So, I'm looking for mainstream examples of great interactive design playing nice with large, cumbersome, gotta pay the bills web banners.

  thanks kez. nice banner examples. but to clarify I'm looking for actual sites that show great design while having a mandatory banner living alongside them. more interested in how these sites might incorporate the banner into their design/layout.
