Lord alive.
Everybody in my neighborhood is trying to out-Griswold each other or something.
I refuse to put any decorations or lights up till atleast the 1st of december!!
Polar Bear, reindeer, flashing lights, santa, big inflatable snowmen....it's nuts around here already...

I definitely refuse to put up the Christmas tree until the 2nd or 3rd week of December, but my dad always puts up the lights outside in the first week of December. There isn't exactly a competition, but everyone definitely comments on who has the most lights. Thankfully many of the people who live around us don't make much of an effort to have lots of nice lights, so we're one of the most noticeable houses on our street.
