Photoshop Q

  This is probably the simplest thing in the world to do but I can't figure it out.

  I have blending options on a layer and I want to apply these so I can crop the result without the blending options being applied around the area I'm cropping.

  If anyone can help I'll be your best buddy for the day!

  merge the layer with a new blank layer?

  not sure if this is what you mean but its how I would 'apply' any styles on a layer...
