in Times Square...
I'm rollin out to NY for New Year's. Any ideas on what to do??? I've been told that if you go to Times Square you can't see the ball anyway..Any other big parties...preferably with bands not Dj's.

I think it'd be good to experience it once in a lifetime (just for the experience), and then do other, better things for New Years. It is most likely overrated, but if you haven't done it yet then go for it.
