I need some help...I'm in the process of making a mix cd for my lady and I'm a little stuck. She is really into music, likes a lot of the same stuff I do, so I don't want to screw this up. This is what I have right now, in no particular order...except that the Coldplay song is going to be last.
Sparks - Coldplay
King's Crossing - Elliott Smith
Kiss Me Deadly - Generation X
This Magic Moment - Lou ReedShe is into TV on the Radio, and the Faint...I know which songs she really likes, should I put her favorite songs on there? Should I put stuff on there that I like...that I think she hasn't heard before? As lame and as high school as I am...Ive never actually done this before.
thanks for the help,
JackRyan

you put things that a) remind you of her, and b) you think she would like.
a is always good.

I make mix tapes a lot. my technique is not ever put the faves on there, unless it's a "faves only" mix. Otherwise, I try to find more obscure songs that I hope noone has heard, but will like.

No mixtape is complete without "It's mine" by Mobb Deep and Nas.
It's a fact.
