People don't know this, but it's pretty common from October to March in the countryside. And a bit of snow too. except the sea-front, most of the country lies at 200mts and upwards.

There's a small place in West Andalucia i used to go to, called 'Zahara de los Atunes', which has hosted a significant community of 'well to do' Germans for the past 60 years. It's also near land, still in Military hands, where they did the first non-combat testing of the Stukka (?) bombers, pre-Guernica.
You can imagine what rumours fly around..
