text export; InD>AI ?

anyone got some magic trick to *clean* export multiple blocks of text from InDesign to Illustrator.
copy/paste breaks-up paragraphs into single lines of text.
i read that export to rtf might work, but doesn't give me that option in CS2.

hey horton...
what I do is have both programs open and just grab, drag and drop from ID to AI. Works like a charm, and you don't have to reformat.cheers.

ah shit. i just realized you meant something different... sorry.
I know it's a bit of a long way around things, but if i need the text to be editable, I usually copy and paste the actual text, and then style the paragraphs. I'll look further into the export from ID thing too.

thx for the tips gucci..
i just started doing the cut & paste thing and working with the plain text. i did quite a bit of research, pretty that's the only option. read quite a few message boards with complaints about adobe and how lame this incompatibility is.
