Pelican is pretty good, I like their 'The fire in our throats' album alot.
- blaw0
that genre is really good to design to, 'eh?
- cosmo0
ha...anything else you would recommend in this genre?
- blaw0
not as trippy, but the newest katatonia is in the same vein and one of my favorite albums of the year.
let me grab some mp3s...
- cosmo0
nice. upload'em.

i would probably recommend The Red Sparowes. Members of Isis, Angel Hair and a few other bands.
they are on my heavy rotation right now.

Hey cosmo is that a speclal directory listing script you made?
i've been looking for something like that for a while now.
do you know where i might get one like that or if i can grab that from you?
- cosmo0
Yeah I built that script. I can email you the scripts if you want.
- irongreymammoth0
yes please. i would greatly appreciate that.
also feel free to join this forum that i just opened. it's more of a general type of forum built around art and music. But, it would be good t get more people to join and suggest new music on the daily.

old man gloom. members of isis and converge. their first album "meditations in b" is amazing, most like isis - mosquito control, but alot noisier and more experimental. the newer old man gloom stuff, such as "christmas" is more like isis - oceanic. they have an album called seminar ii that is a 30 minute track.

katatonia - "the great, cold distance"

So, why is it that 90% of Isis fans have never heard of Neurosis? The whole reason Isis exists is because of Neurosis. Albums as reccomended by me would be Times of Grace, A Sun that Never Sets and Eye of Every Storm.
Take the Wart's advice and listen to Sleep's Jerusalem too. Or Dopesmoker. Dopesmoker is probably a little bit better, plus you get a bonus track, oooh!
