client has given me a brand dvd movie... theres no copyright/security etc... he wants a copy of it...i've only got toast lite here at work...
is there a way to copy a dvd (movie) somehow.
usually i would rip it with mactheripper and burn it with toast titanium. just want a straight copy.??

if it's a single layer then just burn a copy with toast (if you've got the latest). otherwise just use mactheripper as per usual.

there is a mac app called DVDImager
It may be hard to find because of legal crap. I can email you a copy if you don't find it...just email me
it will make a ISO that you can burn from toast
or if you just want the video as an mpeg4 or h.264, then use Handbrake

you may need to register and download the 7.1 updater also - the cd i bought a while back was only version 7 - surprisingly there was actually changes worth having with the updater.
