hi everybody,
my mum and her bf are coming over to spend new year's eve with us here in london. neither of them drink, so i'm trying to figure out something exciting but not too boozy that we can do with them.
i'm thinking book early at a nice restaurant (moro will probably do the trick, mum doesn't really eat meat, and i think there are plenty of veggie options there - suggestions welcome, though) and then...
?
are there fireworks and stuff? where's the action? i've never really been here for new year's before.
any help would be much appreciated. thanks!

You're bringing them to Britain, at New Year - when they don't drink? You've fundamentally not learnt anything in your time here, have you?
I'm not even sure it's possible to celebrate New year without some kind of intoxication - they'd not be up for some e and Ket at a dingy warehouse part in East London?
If not - I'd get out of the city - all there'll be are fireworks at the river and ..er.. drinking.

i'm not 'bringing' them! they're invading!
fireworks it is, then...

do they like the Pet Shop Boys?
lolnah seriously - the edinburgh fireworks are pretty spectacular - and its the worlds biggest street party.

i'd love to go up for hogmanay. they've already booked their hotel in london, but if we win mx's penthouse apartment competition we may well be there!

Once you've stuffed yourself with fine food and you're done the beverage bottles, why not engage in some wholesome family new year's fun!

i go into hiding over new year's eve. there's no fun to be had either sober or c*nted.
surely there's like some power-up disco yoga party with communal "nibbles" like seeds and nuts an shit and a lake of green tea...
