Hi all, I am working with a client who has insisted that they will not be paying a deposit for a project they would like me to do. It is a new client and they are quite a big company who with many freelancers.
What I would like to know is how i can protect my work until they have paid, I don't want to have to copyright it because it will eventually be theres.

Write/find a contract stating as much and get them to sign it.

I know of a website that my friend told me about a few months back, protects work that designers have done, thing is I didn't save it, so will ask him as soon as he's back online for you.

what is the deliverable? PS/illy file, Flash file, web pages? If they don't pay a deposit, make them sign a contract. Ask around, see if they have never not paid anyone
