Sweet!
What did you use to shoot?I dig the tune too.

i used an HVX200 with a couple of 8gig cards. I'm pretty new to the system but I'm sold on the production process. I def reccomend. I'm looking forward to using more slowmo and other advanced framing...

Did you buy the camera, or do you rent?
How much did the cards set you back. It looks tip top though.

yeah i own the camera, it set me back about 6k, though i traded in my XL1s for credit. the cards cost about 1k each.
All of the expense is well worth it, I would say this is just a step below a 20k varicam. You can see it does some killer slomo too...

Wow. I must say it is making me rethink my camera budget.
I heard that if you don't want to drop the bread on the cards right away, you can route it out to a deck. Is that true?
Also, did you have to upgrade any gear for post? New hardrives, etc?

Okay if you route it out it will compress via the onboard card. And yes, I would def. rethink the budget, this camera is well worth it for countless reasons.
I only have purchased one 500gig HD in the last 3-4 months so as far as hardware it didn't set me back too far.
How I've used it in production is using the shooting on one card and dumping to a laptop on the other. It's a bit gruelling waiting 10 min. for 8 gigs to move but you figure work arounds.
I'm shooting mostly 720 24p HD and it can hold up to around 40 mintues. but more or less your only shooting in small bits anyways so dumping info isn't so bad... feel free to hit me up offline and i can fill you in on any more info!

Groovy! Maybe I'll drop you an email when I get closer to the camera fund being full up, and grill you some more on the specs. :)
Thanks!!
