help!
anyone talk me through getting a background image onto a .dmg folder complete with tips on how to hide the folder containing the background image!?!?

I'm just making this up as I go, but change the finder window of the folder to icon view and under the View menu select Show View Options. Down at the bottom of the window that appears you can set the background image by selecting picture.
Hope that helps a bit.

thanks for the reply welded. this is easy but once you get to put this onto a mountable .dmg file you must hide a folder and pop your image file into it so that the folder will always display that picture.
arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
