I'm wondering how difficult the typeface will be for the "average viewer" to initially read?
- forcetwelve0
i agree. for a branding agency it may need to be a little more legible.
- Jaline0
yup, definitely needs to be more legible. nice concept though.
- forcetwelve0
what age bracket are their clients prodominantly?
- rfc0
It's not really age dependent, more of a buisness to buisness type thing.

get out of here.....
- republik80
Doesn't work.
- Timson0
it's a record label, distributing underground techno.
is it?
- FormAddict0
i really like it as an experiment, but although i've done type similar to this it took me a while to actually read it. i think it's too difficult indeed.

Trendy.
- Bluejam0
it's not a solid solution
- mr_snuggles0
well, it is actually really solid, on a form level, as in sturdy, etc... I don't think it's legible enough though for something that's b2b, and doesn't communicate branding, unless having it scream first edition of Los Logos is your goal...

Forget everything you know about Build and put down your copy of Los Logos!!

wayyyy to trndy and new age for a branding agency, this type of stuff will go out of fashion so fast, if it has not already, its very build, designer republic style and will serioulsy limit the scope of clients you are going to attraact. Start again I say
- rfc0
thanks to the people who actually critiqued it. after everyone's weigh in, maybe it's a type study, not a logo.
- blastofv0
definitely start by defining who you're going to be working with/for. Identities for design firms, branding agencies, ad agencies etc. should be really simple and communicative with just a touch of distinct style – unless you're working exclusively with a niche industry that expects a certain look. don't let your personal design tastes overrun your company identity. not for a branding firm anyway. potential clients will get caught up on that sort of a look.
so basically what everyone else said.
doh.
