if you have like a rounded object. ex. a cup and want the cup to reflect, how do you do that? I tried it but the rounded part makes it tricky. we talking straigt down reflect in photoshop CS 1.
help please. =oP

Reflect how? Reflect something on the surface of the object or reflect the object on the surface of something else?

If you're looking to reflect it 'down' onto another surface then duplicate the layer, rotate the duplicate 180 degrees, and move it down below the original. Then scale the duplicate so its shorter than the original to simulate depth, possibly add a slightly transparent gradient on top of the duplicate so it fades from the source.

reflect down with a rounded object, ex. a cup or can etc.
the problem I having is it dont line up at the bottom even do I flip the object right.

If the view angle is too great (and so, emphasising the curved shape of the object), you'll never get it looking perfect. If it's not too bad, you need to flip it etc... then do a warp transform to make it curve the other way... I think that warp control is only in CS2 though.
To warp it in CS1... you can use "shear" (filter > distort > shear) ... this is a bit crazy/annoying, because you can only warp a shape using a vertical bending line, so you'll have to roatate your reflection object 90 degrees, use sheer to warp it into curving the other way, then rotate it back again.
Adjust opacity, gradient mask it... voila!
Good luck!
