I'm on a Intel Mac..
Yahoo IM hasn't been working for me at all for weeks now.When I go to sign in it gives me a stupid message: "the servers may be undergoing maintenence, please try connecting again".
Is this happening to anyone else?

I don't have an Intel Mac or any IM client at all, but have you tried logging in with another client, like Fire or Adium?

I had to install Yahoo IM for a recent project. Can anyone recommend a better IM client that isn't cluttered with ads and gimmicky bullshit.

try meebo.com. I replaced all my desktop client junk with it.
