I use iBiz for the Mac. Nice app.

I've been using Harvest with great results. It's a hosted service with a monthly fee, but so far it has worked better than other apps I've evaluated.

I second the Harvest recommendation. Web-based apps are so hot. :)

I use project calculator purely for tracking time, not for quoting jobs etc. Very simple and easy to use - http://www.macupdate.com/info.ph…

I was going to mention Project Calculator too for strickly time tracking.
Shiiiiit, with your big move to LA, I woulda thought you would have a personal assistant to track time for you by now!

I used to use Khronos for the odd little job (http://khronos.us/) but it hasn't been updated in a while and apparently there's a brutal bug that pretty much makes it a waste. :\

I have Darcy. Dacy's great at tracking my time and logging my jobs but she never understands kerning and doesn't explain to the client why we should do it. She also yells at me a lot for adjusting type after sign-off.

Time IQ www.timeiq.com is pretty good and they just released a widget for the mac to interface directly with the web-based system--so you can do time right from your desktop.
We use it at my studio... nice to keep track of where you are at on projects.
