i need to do this too. it works with xml as far as I know, but I can only get it to fill 1 page out of a 5 page document.
and also I don't know how to make it pull the images with xml as well.
like, do i write img src= yadda yadda yadda or put c:\yadda yadda yadda?
links anyone?

that's what i've been looking at.
You can download some free scripts and stuff there. hopefully that helps you out.
I guess there aren't too many folks here familiar with the automation of stuff in ID.
Let me know if you find anything else of use :)

yeah. we use it here. it looks like it was created by Quad Graphics in Wisconsin. Easy Catalog is what they call 'er. Seems to work pretty well. It is a big database and tends to use 500+mb of RAM while the Panel is open....
There are little green '[' and ']' 's around the place signifying tags which point to x in the database.
Good luck.
