I can honestly say I've never had a sammich I didn't like. I'll make one out of anything if bread can hold it.
My roommates in college used to make fun of me for my invention: the sketti sammich. Make some spaghetti with sauce, hollow out a loaf of french or italian bread and fill the loaf with the spaghetti.

ninja - i make sketti sammichs too!!! I don't get all gourmet with it like you though. I take sauce and noodles (leftovers) and put them on toast with a slice of cheese. So Good!

Corner Bakery Club Panini:
Hickory smoked turkey breast, crisp applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, and plum tomatoes with a touch of mayonnaise.
And of course, they panini it.
It has 1,000 calories and 51 grams of fat, and as per my girlfriend's directives I have not been allowed to eat this sandwich anymore since before this summer so that I at least do my part, dietwise, to eat better and hopefully achieve BradPitt Abs™

Club Sandwich.
Everytime I go to a new place, I try their club sandwich, at one point in my life I was going to try and write a Club Sandwich book about all the different types of Club Sandwiches and how great they are and which places have good ones and which places have bad ones.
Believe it or not, my favourite Club Sandwich isn't at a local deli, or anything.
It's Max & Erma's Turkey Club which is very much like mg33's except not on panini.
Get that shit on wheat, and it's sweet!

Well I do and I don't, they are sometimes a bear to get a bite out of, haha.
As far as calories are concerned, I'm not.
I never watch what I eat, ever, haha.
And I got abs, and barely ever work out.
My metabolism and genes are spectacular.

I get the club sandwich all the time and I'm not even in the club I don't know how I get away with it.
One thing though is that they put too much meat on sandwiches at NY delis. They're like 'would you like anything else?' So I'm like yeah, a loaf of bread and some other people'

I used to have a friend, simple lad, who loved blt's - he used to buy them from the supermarket, premade and pre cut all the time.
One time he ordered one in a bar and it came as a baguette. He looked at it and mused "funny BLT this one". "Why?" I did ask, to which he relpied "its not the right shape"
took me a while to realise that for years he had laboured under the misconception that they were called Bacon & Lettuce Triangles.
