Can someone kick Maya, please? Trusting Sylar instead of her brother, wtf. Also, Maya sucks at acting. She and Sylar are made for each other (but preferably off-screen, please).
TV Girl will find a way out eventually. Or maybe Jessica will save her (although there isn't really any incentive to for her). Maybe Niki will control her powers? Who knows.

On thursday here in Brisbane will be the season finale. But it has been only a few episodes. Is it because of the strike that is going on in the US?

To clarify, I want to see Peter attempt to kick Hiro's ass (with the use of multiple powers), but then something happens. Like more heroes come and help out Hiro, or Hiro just does it himself. Either way, I guess the next episode is the finale-because-of-the-writer's-s...
Question: what happens if the writer's strike ends in January? Do some shows keep filming or something? I know some actors have to come in no matter what because of specific aspects of their contract, but I guess no one wants to film stuff in January because it means episodes won't actually air until March. Still....I think they could tack on some special episodes to satisfy the audience.
Weren't the creators working on some spinoff episodes where they'd introduce a new hero and the audience would vote on which one they wanted in the actual show? I hope that happens, at the very least.

Just watching this online cos its not airing in Ireland yet. Im not really digging this season, it just all seems a bit thrown together and pointless? This weeks episode was a bit cack, the mexican death twins are pissing me off, sylar should've died at the end of season 1 and Peter should be listening to Hiro not Adam. Actually the only bits I've enjoyed so far have been the feudal Japan episodes.
And why is Peter trying to save the lame-ass-crappy-Irish-accent lady? Let her die!

so, i am finally up with the rest of the world. while here season 1 is aired, i became an dwld-alien and saw the last episode last night. so damn. what will sylar be up to? and when will mohinder get his ass kicked? he became so weird...

just finished watching hero.... and the big fight between peter and hiro everybody was waiting for last only 10 seconds.... and at the end of this episode sylar had the stupidest line ever........and the list of shit goes on.... this is probably the worse episode of hero so far... :(

well its the last one we'll see for a while....i agree, not the best episode. this show still has me hooked though, i will def watch next season.

did anyone else think of popeye when sylar reached for the spinach? i thought was an odd choice of prop for what was supposed to be a scary moment.

i just think when he said "i'm back..." it was the worse line in the show... @$%^#%&@#$^@ that 3 words made it worse for me .....

think this has already been mentioned, though the writer of the show has apologised for this season - apparently was hurried due to the wga writers strike.
Explains alot really - as this season does feel like it was slapped together in a few days.

i don't blame the writers...if you look at the terms they are arguing over there's no question who's on the right side...the companies basically want to shut the writers out of royalties from new media. the companies should be reasonable and compromise, they will have to eventually anyway.

Ugh, god, Sylar's lines are being so bad that they're expected now. Which doesn't bode well for the next chapter, which is entitled "Villains", and the creators notes that more villains will be focused on and may create a legion together to take down the good guys.

It sucks about Niki and Nathan though. They're two of my favourite characters (really).
They always cop out when it comes to the big fights. Maybe it's their budget? Who knows. But everytime the season finale comes along the fight lasts like 2 seconds and that's it. I'd like to see something longer next time. Actually, I think the longest fight was that one with Peter versus Sylar (I think?) when Hiro went back in time. And they had the fireballs and iceball thingies. Sorry, I can't remember the details.
Anyway, I hope the strike ends soon because I really want to see what the writers had in mind for this season. "Heroes" is always tedious in the beginning, and the viewers go through the motions because they know it'll pay off (for the most part), but obviously not this time, unless the strike ends. So it's basically a lot of buildup and not much payoff.

I would be surprised if Niki and Nathan are really dead. After they invested so much in those characters, it seemed like a pretty sudden way to write them off.

I think one of them may die, but Kring (in the article) claims that their future doesn't look good. Still, we know that Claire's blood is out there, so anything can happen. Even without Claire's blood anything can happen. This show is crazzzzy like that.

Villains? humm.....so far there is only Sylar left.
Bob(not really a bad guy), Elle(plain Psycho), Adam(won't show up for couple episodes for sure), Matt's dad(locked up), Peter's Mom(bitch slapping power!)
they will need to create several new characters then maybe 4 or 5 my guess

Season 3: Add new characters, new amazing powers (killer poison drippy mascara virus thingy! Able to look at iPod and learn things, not quite in the Matrix-stylee product placement thingy) more plot holes, bad acting and story arcs that serve no purpose and seem to end when the ideas run out (DL killed, Nikki killed etc etc) and crap lines (Irish characters that say 'Boy-o', Villians that say 'Im back in a sinister way). Yayyy!
Im getting frustrated with this but my gf loves it so I keep watching and I feel like its actually erasing the good points of the first season.
