Yeah..did the show run like 5 minutes long? My wife got up as they went to commercial and the clock ticked over at 8:59 - cel phone clock so that's pretty accurate. And then show came back on and ran to like 9:05 or something. And if so, considering how savvy thee guys behind the show are, did they do it on purpose for all the TIVOers and such out there?
Just pondering...
And I like the way the actor who plays Hiro has to do like four different voices - meek Japanese, Bad Jap-english, much better Jap English, and powereful future Hiro Japanese...hehehe..

That episode blew my mind.
Smallville is but a distant memory in my mind that is the old piece of gum on the bottom of Heroes shoe. The Lex/Lana thing last week was the last straw. This is by far the best show on TV (for me anyways).
I was thinking last night that I couldn't remember the last time that a TV show kept me on the edge of my seat like that and entertained from start to finish.

At each commercial break there towards the end..I was like "please, pleease, pleeeease don't end here..." until it finally did..
Fucking ..awesome..How'd future Peter get that scar? Looks like a katana to me...maybe there was beef between future Peter & future Hiro which was why future Niki/Jessica was all pissed off..and trying to figure out in that alt future how the lines got drawn was fucking mind blowing..where was Linderman?? ..and watching Sylar as disguised president just fucking *boom* fly off like that...killer...dammit that I have to wait 'til next Monday...

Yea, initially I accidentally saw a preview and was like, "Why the fuck would I watch an episode about something 5 years in the future that will never happen?"
Then this episode happened, and it was just great!

Right on man. They were hinting towards the possibility that future Hiro may have been one they considered a bad guy for some reason, or, Hiro at some point in time found out Peter was to set off the bomb and tried to kill him. And after this episode I really don't care for the mind reader, man did he turn into a giant asshole.
Crazy stuff trying to put all the pieces together. What a great friggin episode. I'm going to watch it again this afternoon. haha.

that scar on Peter's face is nasty!! why couldnt he not re-construct his face?? does Hiro's sword contain certain properties that cancel out powers?? how does Jessica die if Nikki is still there??
for those like kOna who know what Marvel Civil War is,,, doesnt this seem all too familiar??
perhaps a Superhero Registration Act is needed to quell the ever populating Super Humans...

I noticed the Civil War likeness too e-pill. It's a very cool concept and I'm dying to know how it played out in Heroes. Can't wait until they fill in the missing pieces.
I was wondering about Peter's scar too, and if Claire can re-gen when Sylar got into her brain couldn't she recover?
And in the end when Peter and Sylar face off again Peter's stance and clothing reminded me a bit of Neo going up against Agent Smith, then it's Ice vs. Heat. Fucking a. Iceman vs. Pyro all over again. Way cool.

Haha yea e-pill, I was thinking about Civil War during last nite’s episode for sure.
Mind Reader must have had a kid who is probably about 4 1/2 - 5 years old I guess named Matthew that apparently has some sort of skill that needs for him to be on the run.
...
While Mind Reader is basically being a huge hypocrite hiding his kid but killing/jailing other people with powers.

Since she was supposed to die and Syler was supposed to have her power a long time ago, right? However, even if she was alive I guess Slyer wouldn't have gotten her powers since her father would have hidden her.
k0na, Smallville sucks HARD compared to this. They don't have the budget, actors, or writers from this show, which basically has all the best writers out there (and Lost has similar or even the same writers as well, which explains why they're both such gripping shows).
I have never liked Parkman at all, he's such a whiner and terribly annoying. This episode just proved how sucky he is.
Nathan would've ended up similar to how Syler was imitating him anyway, that's pretty obvious. So Nathan would've been one of the evil ones, in my opinion. Maybe he could've changed into good again (unlike Syler, since Nathan had more of a conscience), but I guess we won't know yet.
I want to know what the hell happened to Jessica...it would've been kick-ass if she was there to support Peter (looks like she wouldn't have wanted to help him either way though). Although her relationship with Peter seems weird. He seems a lot younger, even though the actor who portrays him is pretty damn old (in his 30s, which is only old because he always portrays characters in their teens / 20s)
Anyway, although I hate present Peter, I love future Peter. He's very attractive.
