I left a good job I really liked before the weekend and started a new and better one today. Fresh air is always good.

I have always admired jdk
my old job outsourced a project to them and I got to play with the remnants
the location is sweet too. I concur on that being a dream job.
also, painting for a living would be ultimate

i truly don't know how to describe my 'dream job' as I'm still not sure I'm doing it yet... meaning - design may be a catalyst in something else creative (film work etc)...
... but I think my 'dream enviroment' is one where you're not judged on what you're wearing - where your back may be to people... but so is everyone else's (open space type environment) etc etc... w/video games, indoor basketball court and 84 different coffee machines...
... which is pretty much where I'm working now...
...home. :)

maybe thinking ourselves as creatives is elusive. we are not god. we are replicants. my dream job is something basic that i can transform into likeness - not anything new. just a plain think.
someone said that the secret of hapiness is not to consider yourself too much. and do it, step by step.
in other words: aim low, and progress.
