finally, a tv show feeds us the necessity of being sympathetic about going around and killing people like we never see it in our daily lives or in politics. i'm sure we needed this as a society. one day, they gonna ask, why did you do it, then we will all have our answers ready because of the show. i guess =)

hey fate,,, check my post when this series first started. I think the same thing, it has to be his brother.
Another thing, does his sister bug the F--- out of anyone else or is it just me
- PonyBoy0
she's getting annoying, yes, mo...
... the brother theory is very good... I'm on board w/that....
... I'm a little annoyed that they didn't even introduce what the I.T.K. looked like until only a couple of episodes ago...
... the show is all over the road right now in my head... i'm not sure if I'm into it anymore... and once Dexter stops this guy (if he does)... then what?
- morilla0
i know right... It had so much potential. The sister sucks, very weak actress. She needs to go.
One thing I do want explained, is when, why and how Dexs adopted father first knew of his instinct for murder. I am pretty sure it all ties back to his convict father.

The only character I absolutely hate is the Girlfriend. She annoys the fuck out of me with her whiney voice.

I could agree with the theory that the ITC is Dex's brother because I think his brother in the book is the killer. So the creators probably integrated that part into the story by also making the brother Deb's boyfriend and changing some other things up to make it more interesting. I actually really liked this past episode.
Haha, I have to disagree about both female characters. I love Julie Benz because I've seen her in various other television shows and it's REALLY creepy when she plays a completely psychotic character because you can't tell, if you're just judging by her voice and appearance. Unfortunately in 'Dexter' she is pretty vulnerable right now, so this won't be one of Benz's better projects. But she still does a good job.
I thought Deb was annoying too, but then I realized that she's acting quite normally.
Dexter is questioning their one link- Harry. She knows that if Harry lied, there is a reason, and she doesn't want Dex to get involved, because she trusts Harry, and she thinks that Dex should too. She's also scared that if Dex finds that he has other family it will have an effect on their relationship. Deb is pretty much a hard ass around everyone except Dex. She doesn't want to lose him. It's a common reaction for adoptive families when a person who is adopted starts to look for answers. While Deb is Dex's only family, (that we know of at the moment), Dexter is also her only family. We already know that Deb is very insecure.

oh snap, can't wait for the season finale next week...

it's getting good.

I am thinking now that Rudy might be a survivor from that wherehouse massacre also.
- Jaline0
spoilers
Rudy could be Dexter's brother, since the Ice Truck Killer (in the book) is a relative of Dexter's. I don't know the whole story, but that does mean he could've been in the warehouse...

Also, Weeds is not returning soon because they haven't even started filming the next season, have they? I hard they only recently confirmed that there would be a new season.
Yeah, all the shows are going to be on haitus for a few weeks during the holidays. Sucks, but then again you should probably be having a good time without your tv during that time anyway ;)

oh snaps. I like this kinda stuff to read. I just had no idea. (reading the new 'Hannibal Rising' now)
- PonyBoy0
I love how it's going 'super hero'...
'you can't be a hero AND a killer at the same time...'
... :)
- Jaline0
yes, you can be. A lot of superheroes also kill people. Obviously it's different in Dexter's case because he HAS to kill in order to live, or at least he believes he does. Whereas many superheroes kill because they have to in order to protect innocent lives. It's nearly the same thing with Dexter (along with the childhood trauma), but add a lot of psychological stuff.
- CincodeMayo0
I thought he had to kill to collect samples of blood? Isn't he just a blood sample collector? You guys are making this WAY to philosophical.
I kid.
- PonyBoy0
I was quoting a line I heard from next week's episode...
killing's wrong, mmgkay?
