Anyone know the average markup between wholesale and retail on clothing?

used to be 100 percent, basically double cost.
but in this day and age of 30 dollar t-shirts I think the margins have gotten higher.

in the uk its 2.5 times the wholesale price, upto 3 times in central london

Depends where you are buying from. I used to buy and sell sportswear wholesale from Brazil and made some good change. Like pants would cost me like $8 a pair and I'd sell 'em for $30, and t-shirts w/graphics would cost about $3 and we'd sell 'em for $15.
If you buy from China you'll probably get even better prices...
Buying wholesale in the States and selling here is dumb..the markup sucks...
