Good morning folks...
So I just landed a really legit client doing some freelance through an agency and I made some boards for this commercial. Now they actually want to put it in production! They want me to do the motion work/editing for it and some of the directing. I really have no idea what my quote should be for a project like this. The motion work is a lot of masks and type animation along with a lot of color correction and sharp camera movements. The clients budget is VERY big if that helps.
I really don't know what to pitch to these guys... any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

the bumpers for the openings to shows like making of the band 7 or whatever start at $20,000
Don't be afraid to make a LOT of money for your work.
That last line sounded like a late-night paid programming line, but for real charge the hell out of them; they liked your work and now want you to produce it, you're in a good position.
I don't know the specifics of the project but you can call a production house and ask them for a very general quote, that might be a good place to start.
