I can care less about the music, but are they really doing a movie, or is this just a web stunt to promote some music artist?

but some parts of that triler look fake, as well as the "film styled" letterbox ratio, doen't look right either..

i hate geico's marketing style... hap-hazard nothingness that's slightly pithy yet leaves you scratching your balls and realizing they're a discount insurance company and that in the end... you will 'get what you pay for'... and no gecko, caveman or stand-in actor will make me switch companies.
... the commercials stick with you though.. don't they!

definitely fake. its just cips of the commercials spliced in with new clips that have a take on miami vice.

nono, the miami vice ones are kind of ovbious, I'm talking about the footage with the caveman's talking for example the ones that says
"i'm looking at it right now"

Next to anything with midgets, this has to be one of the best series of commercials. Makes me laugh every time I see them.

I admit... Burt Bakarak singing "I hope I never get hit in the rear again" next to some 'real-life customer' makes me laugh every time...
... oh... and Peter Graves saying "I put on some tangerine lipgloss and answered the door" making the 'customer' sound like a cheating house-whore is rather amusing too. :)
