My birfday used to always fall on Yom Kippur seemingly growing up.
Which was fine by me, until I found out that to my jewish friends this wasn't a particularly "fun" day, haha.

When I was in public school, we used to get Jewish holidays off, even though there were only like 2 jewish kids...
So we used to hold giant footballs games and tag them 'bowl'... Yom Kippur Bowl, Rashashana Bowl, etc.

Irish-Catholic, where we don't go to church we just self depricate ourselves 365 days a year, curse like sailors and generally follow none of the commandments, however, can fall back on inane saint histories we had to memorise as a child as a basis for why we won't go to hell.
Just on the basis if our backs were against the wall, we could in fact answer almost any religious question pertaining to catholics, or make a plausible sounding answer up.
