why can't i see them full screen?

Maybe check your preferences. There's a setting where you can tell iTunes to display video in the little album art preview box at the bottom left, in a seperate window, or full screen.

i checked prefs once already, but i may do so again..it is so weird. i can see films/videos fullscreen, btu not the trailers..
