I have the dimensions of my TV I'm building ads at those dimensions in pixel size, Burning a DVD slideshow in IDVD and the ads are coming out quite a bit smaller then full screen. any help ?

Lets start by telling exactly what you did, so someone can locate the problem :)
What size / ratio are you exporting your clips in?
Is your tv 4:3 or 16:9?

1366 x 768 pixels i dont have the tv in front of me anymore its on site but i want to say its 16:9
