I've never liked Owens - personally I think his arrogance is symbolic of all that is wrong with the modern athlete, but I think it's disturbing to focus on his wealth as reasons why he should be happy. The poor don't own the copyright on misery. In fact, some of the most depressed, mentally unstable people I've met have also been the most well-off.

I honestly don't think it's a suicide attempt.
I mean, Parcells himself was joking about him having an allergic reaction earlier this week.
I can see the police report looking all weird and crazy ... because he probably had no idea what was going on at the time.
From what I heard he thought he was popping supplment pills when they were the pain killers, and just took too many.
The whole thing about him wanting more and more is probably because he was so looped up at this point he didn't know which way was up.
