Just make sure you actually have a real web site for your band.
Myspace is good and all, but nothing worse than being called a "myspace band."

there is a ton of great music on myspace, and there is also tons of crap. But either way, myspace will blow itunes away when they start offering "by track from this artist" feature..it's going to blow!!
Of course if your band sounds lame, it won't really matter

we just put in this neat little app thing that shows where the last 50 visitors are located in the world via google maps. Its really neat. Then you zoom in on their house and imagine yourself hiding in their closet, writing haikus to be posted at a later date on the PVN.
