my audio has stopped working on flash . google videos and you tube videos. BUT i have audio when i check out a quicktime video.
any thoughts??

i had this problem when i was using fp 8, updated to 9 and the audio returned.

nope

sounds like a codec error somewhere. i fixed it by installing the k-lite codec pack.

This works (just in case anyone gets the same problem on a mac)
Open up Audio MIDI Setup, which is an app in your /Applications/Utilities folder.
Verify that the Output sample rate is 44100 Hz, and that all the other settings are correct.
