as much as i love CS2 sometimes when i import a .png an annoying grey box appears around the image. i'm not sure what it is and i want it to stop. any suggestions? thanks.

that happens to me, too, if i'm holding down Shift when moving an object and accidentally let go. I can't get it to stop, but it goes away if you close the window and reopen it. Annoying to do, I know, but it's better than having to see the annoying box.

that's the solution i found as well.

the bounding box happens when you miss click it. Look in the layer palette, it will have expanded the object/layer into smaller bits - click the arrow next to the object/layer and it will remove the bounding box and return to normal

Sorry, it's Friday 5:25pm, you can't expect too much sense coming out of my brain

try double clicking outside of the box..

I've tried that foreverwhatever. It didn't help :(

it expands the layer. all you have to do is collape the paths in the layer with the little trianle to the left and the gray box will go away.... bugged me for a few weeks as well.

oooh, thank you linearch!

(Sep 22 06, 08:58)I only work on Fridays. I have school on the other days, so it's weird how everyone is very relaxed and are looking forward to the weekend when it's the only day of work for me. Although I haven't had much to do lately..
